“Being the best is something that everyone strives to be. Where I see a lot of people lose that or get misguided is the perspective on that. There’s always going to be someone better than you. And like we say, no matter how good you are, there’s always a 14 year old girl somewhere that can out shoot you or out lift you or swim faster, or jump higher, anything. There’s always somebody better. And when we look at being the best, we know one, obviously, get the right equipment, but then we invest time in ourselves and it’s about progress, not perfection, right? We’re always striving every day to get a little bit better. So being the best, isn’t just, “Can I be the best shooter?” It’s being the best in your daily life. If you strive to be that way, you will achieve your goals.”  Drew Estell

Drew Estell is an Army Special forces veteran who specialized with multiple deployments to the middle east performing unconventional warfare and direct-action missions. His career includes duties on a Military Freefall Detachment and as an assaulter in the Crisis Response Force (CRF/CIF). Before leaving active duty, Drew helped to stand up and manage his unit’s concealed carry/active shooter program. Alongside other Special Operations Veterans, he co-founded the Mission 22 Shooting Team to help raise awareness of the veteran suicide epidemic in the shooting sports, and currently is the owner of BAER Solutions. After working and training with high level shooters, Drew was encouraged to found BAER Solutions with input from SOF Sports Psychologist to combine the mental aspect of shooting and training alongside the mechanics and fundamentals. There is a gap in the training arena that does not address the mental skills necessary to succeed as a gunfighter. Working closely with a Mental Performance Coach that specializes in SOF skill sets will bring a new aspect to the tactical training world and provide a skill set unavailable elsewhere. His training company adheres to their motto of “Individual shooters, individual solutions.” BAER Solutions has quickly grown to teaching multiple open enrollment classes across the country, Law Enforcement restricted classes, and is beginning consulting for police departments to deliver tailored solutions such as shooting packages, SOF lessons learned, and tactics.
