Built For: The Veteran

For the first episode of our "Built For" series, we sat down with Gustavo "Gus" Hernandez Jr, a 28-year veteran of the Miami-Dade Police Department. Gus walked us through his journey from the US Army to the Miami-Dade Police Special Response Team (SRT), and his experience as a member of the SRT.

"Built for Heroes" is not just a slogan, but a core belief at Staccato. Heroes are woven into the fabric of our country; the Americans who protect, innovate, sacrifice, and exceed expectations. We owe it to them to tell the powerful stories of the individuals who understand excellence is a requirement, not an option. They must be the voice that spreads the ideals that are closest to their hearts, impart what drives their actions, and empower those around them and the next generation.
